  • Peter Whigham’s first solo collection is in two parts: Love Poems of the VIth Dalai Lama and The Ingathering of Love. The first part consists of ‘poems suggested by’ the Tibetan originals; they are lyric epigrams, erotic poems of the greatest delicacy. The Ingathering of Love by contrast is a relaxed yet sustained long love poem of great power and beauty.
